I am a first time author of a thriller published in 2010. I'm not going to lie; it's bloody and the f bomb gets dropped more than once. It's still something that I would pass off to my mom and my eighth grade teacher.

I'm a student working towards a degree in forensic anthropology and my list of interests span far and wide. My favorite books are the ones that contain elements of psychology, criminal justice and forensics -- with a healthy dose of history. Lately, however, I've been reading quite a bit of teen fiction.

My wonderful twelve-going-on-twenty-year-old son hasn't yet realized how terrible it is that his birthday falls on New Years Day. We have a three-year-old White German Shepherd we rescued who keeps us all questioning our sanity and must have been a sled dog in a previous life. His name is Flint.

Summer 2013 we added a six-week-old Mainecoon cross to our family, Mr. Jones. He turned two in May.

I work full time as a manager at a local restaurant. I work nights, so that means I get to meet all sorts of interesting individuals. It also means that I am perpetually tired and slow on responding to emails. I also skip going to the gym frequently and yearn for the day when I can have a whole bottle of wine with my dinner.

You can catch up with me on Twitter and on Facebook.

Thanks for stopping by!
